The Everyday Scrapper Blog Hop!!

At the Everyday Scrapper, we post ideas, layouts or sketches everyday-yea, real stuff you can do EVERYDAY at home.  That's me.  I try to make the most of my supplies, by using what I have and jazzing it up.

Today I am going to show you a layout using bottlecaps-yep I am going green!!!
Here is my layout
easter basketI started with bottle caps and I smush them between two boards- but the bottlecaps face up on a board, put another board on top and pound with a hammer. You may want your hubby to help!! Don't pound too hard, there is a learning curve here.

Some don't always look the best!! It takes some practice, but there are endless ways to decorate them!!

Then I decorated the top and covered the bottom with lace to make a flower

Here are my decorated bottlecaps. I decided to use them for the first letters of my title

  10. Love this idea! I will have to keep bottle caps now...my family already thinks I'm crazy for keeping empty jars and plastic bread ties...now bottle caps!
